Foreclosures in Sparks has slowly increased since 2008.  One of the biggest misconceptions in the Sparks real estate market is lack of home buyers — demand.  This is not true.

There are a lot of buyers for Sparks but due to continued downward pressure on Sparks home prices, and inefficiency in banks in handling short sales, Sparks continues to experience new foreclosures.  But I won’t be surprised if in the next few years, foreclosures cease as the area is still experiencing growth, albeit not as fast as five years ago.
